Samsung Exynos 990 – next flagship chip with 120Hz and 108MP

Samsung’s new Exynos 990 chipset is around the corner and will be about 20% faster than the previous generation. The most interesting thing is the native support of 120 Hz displays, which is expected to be the trend for the 2020s smartphones. All specs of new Exynos 990:

  • 8 processor cores on 7nm EUV process (extreme ultraviolet process)
  • Dual NPU core
  • GPU Mali-G77 MP11
  • 6 camera modules support
  • UFS 3.0/UFS 2.1

It is also very likely that the new chipset will also support 5G by default, but this is still unconfirmed information.

Andy Rubin with pictures of Essential’s next phone. Weird.

Andy Rubin posted few interesting images of a new device with ridiculously skewed ratio. As we can can understand from hes words “New UI for radically different formfactor” is enough to conclude that this is the final design or real product.

OnePlus 7t at Launch Event in London – new device?

OnePlus Launch event is only a few days away (October 10 London and October 11 in NYC), but now we know about new upcoming device – most probably OnePlus 7t Pro. Well, it was already obvious that the event in India should not reveal all the news and there would be something for dessert, but now we know for sure 🙂

As you can see, the picture shows a phone without notch – this “inaccuracy” and the words “Thought we were done? Oh we’re just getting started” are a pure hint of the company’s upcoming new model.

Possible OnePlus 7t McLaren edition! [Edited]

In a new tweet from Pete Lau, Founder & CEO at OnePlus, we can see a hint of a new possible version of the device – the McLaren Edition:

[Edit] – Official announce of OnePlus 7T McLaren Edition

And few hours later it is officially confirmed – there will be OnePlus 7T McLaren edition:

Amazon Kindle Kids Edition – made for kids, made for fun

Amazon’s Kindle Kids Edition is a good way to get your kids to read. It includes a special system for rewarding goals, such as badges for specific goals or reading for 30 days. The device is, in fact, just a £20 more expensive variant of the 2019 model, but it also includes a case and a two-year warranty against accidents.

As always, there will be more powerful options at a higher price, but the idea is interesting. Especially in a world where video content dominates teens. The device will be available at the end of October.

Xiaomi Redmi 8 – next Budget King from Xiaomi
